Israel’s Agriculture Minister, Mr. Uri Ariel arrived (April 3rd) in New Delhi leading a Water Expert and businees delgetation that will take part in "India Water Week 2016", where Israel is the country partner. He was warmly received by Ambassador Daniel Carmon upon his arrival in New Delhi last night. Tomorrow he will inagurate the Israeli Pavilion at Pragati Maidan.
Born in December 22, 1952, Minister Uri Ariel lived for many years in Kibbutz Tirat Zvi. He took up two Ministerial positions until now in the Israeli Government: Minister of Construction and Housing 2013-2014. Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development from May 2015. Mr. Ariel was appointed the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development following the 2015 election.
Minister Uri Ariel will hold talks, in Ministerial level, to further promote the growing friendship and partnership between the two countries, especially in the fields of africulture and water. The members of the delegation are expacted to share their expertise in water management and thechnologies, through a series of seminars and roundtables, as well as through B2B meetings.
